National Strategy

As Kuwait aims for net-zero emissions in the oil sector by 2050 and across the broader economy by 2060, the development of green skills becomes essential for facilitating this transition

Why Green Skills?

The transition to a green economy will necessitate a workforce equipped with new and diverse skills.  Developing these skills requires a comprehensive approach involving education, investment in research and development, and fostering innovation.

Economic Growth

Embracing green skills not only addresses environmental challenges but also opens avenues for economic growth and job creation in emerging green sectors.

Hosted by MERAS Consulting & Fifty Shades Greener

Following the success of last year's summit where we explored the WHY of green skills, this year we shift the focus to the HOW, exploring tangible strategies for implementing green skills into Kuwait’s industry. As the urgency to integrate sustainability into education, employment, and governance grows, Kuwait stands at a pivotal point to lead the region in fostering a skilled, green-conscious workforce.
