The LeafMark™
A symbol of commitment to a greener future.
At Fifty Shades Greener, we believe that true sustainability begins with people. That’s why we created the LeafMark™, a certification logo that employers can proudly display to show their commitment to equipping their workforce with the skills needed for a sustainable future.
The LeafMark™ is more than just a badge; it’s a signal of leadership, responsibility, and action. It tells your customers, partners, and community that your organisation is not only aware of its environmental responsibilities, but is also actively training and empowering employees to take meaningful steps toward a greener future.
The LeafMark™ comes in three levels, each representing a deeper commitment to green skills training within the workforce.
1 Leaf: Awareness
This level shows that the organisation has provided Green Skills Level 1 (awareness training) to at least 20% of their workforce.
- Demonstrates a first step toward sustainability.
- Builds a foundation of environmental awareness across the organisation.
- Encourages employees to understand their role in achieving greener practices.
Ideal for: Organizations beginning their green journey and embedding sustainability awareness into their workplace culture.
2 Leaves: Application
This level recognises organisations that have taken their sustainability commitment further by:
- Providing Green Skills Level 2 (specific skills) to at least 2% of their workforce.
- Ensuring at least 20% of their workforce has completed Level 1 awareness training.
This demonstrates that sustainability is not only a cultural value but also a practical capability within the team. Employees are equipped with both awareness and specialised knowledge to implement real change.
Ideal for: Organisations ready to apply sustainability practices more strategically within their operations.
3 Leaves: Leadership
The highest level of the LeafMark™ celebrates organisations that are truly embedding sustainability at the core of their operations. To achieve this level, an organisation must:
- Provided Green Skills Level 3 (highly specialized skills) to at least 1 employee
- Provided Green Skills Level 2 (specific skills) to at least 2% of their workforce.
- Deliver Level 1 awareness training to at least 50% of their workforce.
This level represents organisations that are not just participating in sustainability but leading the way. They are creating systemic change, empowering their teams with advanced expertise, and setting an example for others to follow.
Ideal for: Industry leaders committed to shaping a truly sustainable future.
