With everything going on in the world today, we need the restorative nature of Christmas to return. A time to relax and enjoy the holiday with all of your loved ones.
At FSG we believe that sustainability does not and should not, involve spending more - in fact it's the opposite. At Christmas in particular it's about being resourceful and putting less pressure on yourselves to panic buy for that perfect gift - allowing you the time to be present, doing the things you love, with the people you love.
In the background of course, the energy crisis still looms large in our minds, along with the cost of living so as we always say here at FSG - being resource efficient goes hand in hand with cost savings!

UN SDG 8 main goal is to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. However, according to the International Labour Organisation (ILO), 28 million were in forced labor in 2021.
In today’s blog, we’ll learn about the current forced labor reality and the meaning of decent work and sustainable economic growth.
Forced Labour refers to situations in which persons are coerced to work through the use of violence or intimidation, or by more subtle means such as manipulated debt, retention of identity papers, or threats of denunciation to immigration authorities. It is also called modern slavery because it refers to situations of exploitation, where a person cannot refuse or cannot leave because of threats, violence, coercion, deception, or abuse of power. Striving for environmental sustainability in our shopping habits is no easy feat.
I find myself having to make tricky decisions every day of the week.
